Last Christmas, I started the tradition of wrapping gifts in Stendig Calendar paper. I love black and white as a colour scheme and I had a November sheet kicking around, so I gave it a go and really liked the look. Unfortunately, I only had one sheet to play with, so I couldn’t get contrast of the black and white sheets under my (tiny) tree. From January of this year, I started saving up my Stendig sheets as I tore them off, and now I’ll have 11 sheets for wrapping. This year I’m going to pair my paper with brown string! It’s is a lovely way to get a little more out of the calendars.
Linda & Harriet must have had a similar idea because they’ve design a large calendar with that dual purpose in mind! This is the 2015 Gift Wrap Calendar— it’s perfect to store up your sheets year-round and use for birthdays or Christmas. It has very sweet patterns with a little calendar on each month. I prefer the Stendig as a calendar, but this is a really beautiful alternative– either one makes lovely wrapping paper.
