It’s really exciting times in the world of Pandr Eyez right now. A few weeks ago, PRS asked us to perform at their 100-Year Anniversary celebration. PRS are the organisation that look after music royalties in the UK. Pretty much every British musician is a member, and it’s such an exciting honour to be able to perform with them as a part of their celebrations. They have a brief photographic exhibition happening at the Getty Images Gallery in London, and we’ll be performing in the gallery tomorrow evening, which is amazing.
After we received that exciting news, we found out that we’d been longlisted for Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition. Out of thousands of entries, they narrow the list down to 120 to make the longlist. Isn’t that amazing?! We were already pretty excited about that and then we got the call that we’d been named a finalist!
So, from thousands of bands down to 120, and 120 to the final eight! The next stage is that we’ll perform alongside the other 7 bands in front of the Glastonbury judges to pick the ONE winner that will perform on a main stage at Glastonbury.
I see a lot of band practice in my future.
