Ready for the Summer with Jelly Sandals

jelly sandals sun jellies

Okay, everyone may not agree with me on this one, but I love jelly shoes. They are seriously my jam (see what I did there).

These were in style a long time ago when I was a kid, and about 5 years ago I ran across a black and clear pair by Steve Madden. They were cheap and nostalgic, so I bought one in each colour and wore them ALL SUMMER until they both eventually broke. My favourite of the two was the clear pair because they matched everything and made me look barefoot, which I strangely liked.

It wasn’t until the end-ish of last summer that a friend introduced me to Sun Jellies, who sell the original jelly shoe brand from 1946. They offer a lot of colours (including clear), but at the time they only carried one style and it wasn’t like my jellies of yore so I held off buying. I later checked the site again and they had introduced a new line similar to my beloved Steve Madden jellies! Joy!

They were Β£14, and they arrived in about 3 days. Let me tell you something… they feel like a hug on my feet. A. hug. on. my. feet.

I’m just passing on the joy in case any of you out there are like me and love jelly sandals. They have sizes for babies as well!

I remember them from when I was a kid. I loved the ones I had but they tore my feet up :(
But you said these feel like a hug on your feet so maybe the material is mucho better.

Thanks for sharing, going to have to check them out!
