Sheepskin for Eames Chairs

I put in a little Ikea order last week for our white curtains and that cushion I mentioned earlier. When I was making the order, I was really torn about whether or not to order a sheepskin for our Eames chair. Initially, I wasn’t 100% sure if I wanted the sheepskin at all, but I’ve decided that I definitely do now. Look how cute!

The other problem I had was whether I should get the real or the faux sheepskin. I’m a little worried that the faux one might look a little wispy and… fake. Twenty pounds may not sound like a big price difference for some people, but when you have a long (and growing) list of things you need, that £20 difference starts to mean a lot! Looking at the rooms above, I can tell that a couple of them are real sheepskin, but on the other shots, I just can’t tell! I sort of wish I could see what it looks like before buying, but that wish isn’t strong enough to make me take the trip to Ikea. I think I may just go for the Ludde to be safe. Another one for my growing wishlist.

Also, as a side note… We rearranged our living room and cleaned out our storage closet this weekend. We threw away THREE GARBAGE BAGS worth of junk. It’s so easy to hang onto crap! It feels so good to get rid of things, and our room seems so much bigger now that we’ve changed it. I took a before picture, but I’m waiting to do a couple more things before I share.

If you’re wondering, the Ludde is here and the Tejn is here x
